KSG Maschinenbau GmbH has committed itself to running its business in a fair and responsible manner.It undertakes to treat all business partners fairly and in particular to abide by the following guidelines:

Environmental protection
Our environmental protection measures conform to the valid legal requirements and are checked at regular intervals.We abide by all applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards.We support ecological and responsible behaviour and promote environmentally friendly technologies.We are aware of the necessity of sustainable behaviour; we encourage and request our employees to make suggestions for improvement to the management. These suggestions are checked and – if found to be useful and necessary – implemented.

Social responsibility
The well-being of our employees and of the population as a whole is important to us.
We provide our employees with a safe working environment by complying with the respective legal specifications, regulations or corporate guidelines regarding occupational health and safety.
The efficiency and completeness of our internal occupational health and safety measures are checked on a regular basis and adjusted if necessary.
We recognise the right of every employee to an appropriate remuneration and comply with the legally guaranteed minimum wage.

Discrimination
Our employees are requested – within the scope of the respectively applicable rights and laws – to oppose any form of discrimination.This refers in particular to discrimination against employees on account of their gender, their race, a handicap, their ethnic or cultural origin, their religion or ideology, their age or their sexual orientation.

Human rights – forced labour / child labour
Observance of the internationally recognised human rights is respected and supported. Every form of forced labour is strictly rejected.
The United Nations regulations on human and children's rights are observed.
In particular the convention on the minimum employment age and the convention on the prohibition and immediate measures to eliminate the worst forms of child labour should be taken as the standard and observed.If national laws concerning child labour foresee stricter measures, these shall take precedence.

Corruption / dealing with gifts and invitations
Our employees are strictly instructed to comply with the applicable anti-corruption laws.Amongst other things, the following must be observed:
None of our employees may request gifts or other personal favours from customers, suppliers or other business partners.The acceptance and granting of gifts and other favours is especially prohibited if it appears to be suitable for influencing pending entrepreneurial decisions or for breaking a law, regulation or guideline.

Fair competition
KSG-Maschinenbau GmbH stands for fair and unadulterated competition.
We expect from our employees that they do not participate in anti-competitive deals and agreements with other companies.

Inclusion of business partners
The above code of conduct is to be observed in all business actions and decisions, and in particular when selecting business partners.In the case where doubt exists that partners are adhering to this code of conduct, in particular with regard to forced and child labour as well as human rights, these partners are to be requested to comply with this code of conduct immediately, otherwise they are to be replaced by other business partners.

All applicable data protection and data security laws and regulations are observed.This applies in particular to the personal data of customers, consumers and employees.
